Tama Tonga vs Toru Yano

If any of these Firing Squad idiots get involved in any B Block matches they'll be suspended for three months. This thing fell apart after a couple of minutes. Tama choked Yano in the ropes and assaulted the ref multiple times. Firing Squad joined us but were cut off by officials, Tama gun stuns the ref and gets DQ'd at 5:05. Why even drag it out? It was so predictable and should've just been thrown out after the second assault. Whatever, I'm glad Tama doesn't care about stars because he's getting negatives from me. (-*)

Juice Robinson vs Hirooki Goto

No cast for Juice tonight. He eventually went after Gotos injured arm and proceeded to control from there but Goto came back and turned into a pretty even match. A few nice counters at the end and Juice won a pulp friction at 10:44. I wasn't much into this one, it was good, but very slow. Good win for Juice, he needed one. (***)

SANADA vs Tomohiro Ishii

SANADA tried to keep up with Ishii's strikes but realized that was a bad idea to try to match power and took over with fast pace more risky offense and big moves. They had a tremendous hard hitting match, with lots of striking, suplexes and big moves, and the last few minutes were ridiculously great action, particularly loved the shining wizard from Ishii. After an incredible series of reversals Ishii delivered a huge lariat for an awesome near fall, and the brain buster finally finished SANADA off at 17:08. Ishii is amazing, SANADA can be, and he was here. (****3/4)

Tetsuya Naito vs Zack Sabre Jr

Slow start as Naito is tranquilo, and Zack is frustrated and stalls a lot, and then Naito himself powders. After that it turned into a great match, Zack tied up Naito with lots of submission and Naito kept fighting out of them and build his offense. Lots of drama and nice counters throughout and it built up to a good ending. Zack countered a destino, Naito hit it on the second attempt but Zack countered the follow up Destino and hit the Zack driver to shock everyone at send Naito out of the tournament at 18:20. Took a little bit to get going but once it did it was great. (****1/2)

Kota Ibushi vs Kenny Omega

Started out intense, though pretty basic with Omega controlling with strikes, and it built up over the next 20 minutes and got even more intense. Ibushi desperately fought out of every One Winged Angel attempt and Omega never hit it. Some crazy moves in this, a few highlights were when Omega spiked him on the apron early. Ibushi landing a ridiculous knees first standing moonsault that looked absolutely brutal. Omega going for the dragon suplex off the top rope but Ibushi landed on this feet. From there it was an awesome home stretch with awesome near falls. The ending came when Omega attempted a top rope One Winged Angel but Ibushi escaped and did a double foot stomp. He hit a top rope tiger driver for a near gall and followed up with kamigoye to win at 23:13. Amazing main event, incredible emotion. The crowd were into every second of this. Personally, I preferred Tanahashi v Okada from last night, but this was right up there with the best matches of the tournament. (*****)

So, the finals are set now and it will be Ibushi v Tanahashi. They wrestled at Power Struggle last year and it was amazing, I'm expecting the final to be even better. Can't wait.
